Ms. Jenkins joined the Covenant House International board of directors in December 2009. She has traveled to many of the U.S. Covenant House sites as well as the sites in Canada and Mexico and met and spent time with the residents showing up for the kids time and again. She has participated in many of the Night Of Broadway Stars events helping to raise money and awareness for youth experiencing homelessness. Ms Jenkins is also a founder and member of the Broadway Sleepout committee and has helped to raise over a million dollars.
